Airalo’s fully remote Engineering team is growing. In this role, you’ll tackle complex technical challenges across our product ecosystem, helping build, innovate, and scale the platform that keeps millions of travellers connected worldwide.

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will join a highly collaborative team focused on an ambitious mission: bringing new users to Airalo and helping them seamlessly connect globally. In this role, you won’t just test isolated features—you will truly own product quality end-to-end, checking quality across all stages of development from initial design to release and post-launch monitoring. You will partner closely with fast-moving growth and marketing squads to support swift, high-impact product experimentation while scaling our core automation frameworks.

Your main responsibilities are:

  • Web Automation & Testing (primary focus): Build, maintain, and scale robust automated test infrastructure focused on our web applications using Playwright
  • Mobile Automation & Testing (secondary focus): Actively participate in the team’s mobile QA rotation, taking hands-on ownership of iOS and Android mobile app testing, executing mobile regressions, and fixing Maestro automation tests
  • End-to-End Quality Ownership: Own product quality throughout the full Software Development Lifecycle - defining test strategy, validating releases, and monitoring quality in production to ensure a stable user experience
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner directly with fast-moving growth and marketing stakeholders to help implement and safely test rapid product experiments
  • CI/CD Integration: Embed automated test suites into our active CI/CD pipelines, proactively troubleshooting workflows, environments, and containerized testing setups

Does this sound like you:

  • Core QA Experience: 5+ years of professional Quality Assurance experience, including 3+ years dedicated to automation engineering within a product-driven scale-up or collaborative tech ecosystem
  • JavaScript & Web Automation Expertise: Excellent technical proficiency in JavaScript paired with deep, hands-on experience of modern web testing tools; ideally Playwright or other similar tools (e.g. Cypress)
  • Mobile Testing Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with manual and automated testing for native iOSand Android applications, with the ability to handle mobile regressions and debug/maintain Maestro tests

THE OPPORTUNITY

PagerDuty is looking for an Executive IT Support Engineer to join our IT Operations team. In this critical, high-impact position, you will act as the primary technology partner for our CEO and Senior Leadership Team (SLT), providing Tier 3+ white-glove service. Your mission is to ensure flawless, continuous technology operations for our executives, whether they are at our San Francisco headquarters, traveling for board meetings and earnings calls, or working from various home environments across global time zones.

In this role, you are far more than a support resource; you are a proactive partner and trusted advisor tasked with anticipating points of failure before they impact productivity. You will take full end-to-end accountability for the technology ecosystem within the Office of the CEO, maintaining the highest levels of discretion and a calm presence. By blending Tier 3+ technical expertise with a service-oriented mindset, you will ensure that technology remains seamless for our executive leaders.

Based in our San Francisco office, this position requires an onsite presence four days a week, with the flexibility for travel to provide mobile support to the executive leadership team as needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Executive Technology Ownership

  • Provide Tier 3+ white-glove technical support to the CEO, C-Suite, SLT, and Executive Assistants - ensuring prompt, seamless resolution of hardware, software, connectivity, and AV issues.
  • Take full end-to-end accountability for the technology experience across office, home, and mobile environments for the Office of the CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Solution Architecture & Discovery

  • Lead discovery workshops to understand client objectives, existing systems, data flows, and constraints.

  • Define target-state architecture for CRM, CDP, and marketing automation, including integration patterns, governance, and scalability considerations.

About the project

You'll be joining a major build for one of our clients, a leading platform in the creator economy. They're rolling out a native Community feature that gives their users' most engaged audiences a place to gather, talk, and come back between sends, unlocking a premium upsell and stronger retention for the platform.

The project is mid-development by the time you start, with a beta window and a release event planned for later this year. You'll be embedded into a small, focused team and shipping production code from day one.

About the role

We're looking for a senior full-stack engineer comfortable working primarily in Ruby on Rails and React, who can drop into an existing codebase, ramp up quickly, and start delivering meaningful tickets within the first few weeks. You'll work alongside our existing engineering leads on this engagement, share planning and working sessions with the broader client team, and contribute directly to features being shipped to end users.

The stack is Ruby on Rails with Postgres and Redis Docker for local dev), a React frontend, with real-time and feed infrastructure powered by Stream.io. We use GitHub for code management and Linear for ticketing.

This role is hands-on. There's no Rare Days PM on this engagement (the client owns PM, so we're looking for someone who is self-directed, communicates clearly, and can operate effectively inside a client's processes and rituals.

- Build and ship full-stack features across the Rails service layer and the React frontend on the client's community platform

  • Familiarity with practical model optimization techniques such as batching, caching, quantization, model distillation, prompt optimization, fallback routing, and use of smaller models where appropriate.

  • Experience working with model-serving systems such as vLLM, Triton, TGI, SageMaker, Vertex AI, or custom inference services is preferred.

  • Experience working with LLM and Multi-modal evaluation and benchmarking frameworks and domain‑specific benchmarks with the ability to interpret results and optimize model performance accordingly.

System Design & Architecture

  • Preferred understanding of distributed systems, scaling patterns, and performance engineering

  • Ability to design modular, maintainable, and efficient architectures

  • Experience with API versioning, modularization, and designing long-running workflows

  • Understanding of performance bottlenecks and low-latency backend patterns
